Was having a run to test out Extreme Monkism a bit. Incidentally, this was with a bunch of mods loaded. Pretty sure this isn't supposed to happen? Note the minimap, this was the first thing I saw. Probably Interior Dredmorating. There also appears to be another bug where, due to Extreme Monkisms' huge buffs to primary stats, large chunks of health disappear seemingly at random. The zoo is indeed from ID, but I've checked my files and see nothing out of place. I suspect it has either to do with the feature that allows for double zoos, or the way the game places doors. If it is the doors that do it, then in theory this could happen on any floor but the starting one, but is rare only because of how few rooms per floor are zoos. You'll notice that the two cyan zoos on your minimap are not the same shape, despite being the identical source file. Doors over-write 3 spaces of each room file they connect to. The northernmost zoo has only 1 exterior door, whereas the one you're in has either 5 or 6. Thankfully, in this specific case there's a door-shaped breakable object preventing the entire zoo from getting to you. As long as you're careful with area effects, you should only have about a dozen monsters to face before being able to catch your breath.
Never seen that before. I figured the mods could do that to you. I do see double all the time and sometimes even triple zoos, without mods of course.
In 200 hours of play I've never seen stairs lead into a zoo. I never gave it a moments thought whether it was actively prevented or not.
I did ask in #gaslampgames and was told by a rather credible source that I should put a bug report up in here.
