I'm considering, for fun, making a build to emulate the player character from Minecraft, steve?. I'm figuring he'd have swords, all 3 crafting skills, master of arms, golemancy (for the tunneling), and crossbows. Does that sound like it would be at all worthwhile?
Taking all three crafting skills will make things difficult, you wont have any survival skills so this would be a pretty difficult build but some of the weirdest builds have worked for me when I have gone all random
Alchemy gives you all the survival skills you need -- though you'll have trouble finding enough coal to fuel both your steel and invisibility potion addictions. The crossbow skill seems unnecessary to me since it doesn't really give any significant benefits, but whatever. I'd say golem 2 as your first skill, and let Moustache Golem carry you through the first two dungeon levels. Assuming you have enough mana to cast it, that is. Then focus on smithing (and at some point put a point in alchemy to double your healing potion generation rate). From there the world's your oyster, so to speak.
