Okayokayokay, this isn't a standard victory build or optimization thread, though those are certainly welcome. No, I'm making a thread here for builds that you can call things, what they include, and what kind of items you might like to accompany it (though mentioining them is optional, especially if you have a build that for instance encompasses shields, swords, and master at arms... since that gets kinda obvious.. and it doesn't -have- to be a part of the build so.. whatever you feel is part of the build). Skill trees that aren't part of the vanilla packs are also allowed. If you rememberwhere they come from, great! if not, I don't think we'll fault you, since the workshop has a search function I believe. (at least on steam). Which brings me to the questionably erotic knight. Otherwise know as powerlevel 90's Knight Pervant. Or his brother/sister in arms Inquisitor of the 90th cultural circle. Encompasses the following skills: Swords | Swords Dual weilding | Shields Bowiemancy (mod) | Assassination Master at arms Artful dodger Gangnam style (mod) 90's kid (another mod!) As you might imagine, These builds require swords, good beats, and an appropriate sense of hunting down ghosts. Your choice between being a rebel space wizard or a really uptight wad who likes doing whatever everyone else does, but in an ironic manner.
Alright, another mod-based build. Kind-of less stupid in its own. Druid Magic (mod) Heart of fire (mod) Viking Rage Burglary Agile dodger Weapon of choice dual wielding Aside from getting a butt load of regen, who doesn't want to be an angry otherkin with an agressive outlook on 'sharing', especially sharing the nature of things? Especially deadly pointy things that hurt a lot.
Obligatory viking build from vanilla. Axes or swords Shields or dual weilding Viking Rage Alchemy (Boooooooze) Viking Wizardry Master of arms Piracy
I have one I was doing just until recently. I like my builds to have a natural progression and story flavor to them. In the one I'm sharing now I have a man who was infected slowly turn into a powerful robot. Alchemy - Our Hero started out as a simple dabbler in the sciences. However drinking the wrong vial at the wrong time... Thaumite Mary - The poor sap was infected by Thaumites, who are slowly turning him. (Also has a needed heal) Sentient Suit - Alas, now but an artificial metal body this former man must survive in a world where food hurts him. He must come to terms with this. Ley Walker - Discovering a power source is implicitly important as this powers his ability to move. Warlockery - Turning this power source against others in a crude, but effective, manner aids him in his quest for self discovery. Perception - His sensors are now fully functioning, allowing him to take in more from his surroundings at once. Also: ROBOT LASER VISION FTW!!! Electromancy - Having mastered his inner power source his is beginning to learn how to control and conduct the energies within him from without, mostly by sending them into other people. This also covers his greatest weakness of electricity.
True Android Rogue Build: Smithing(or Tinkering, Arron Syaoran is an Excellent Miner and Craftsman) Thrown Weapons(or Archery, but Android Rogues prefer Thrown and Guns) Android Rogue Skill(Essential for all Android Rogues, but can be replaced by skills shown below if you're playing vanilla) Dual Wield Daggers(or Swords if you prefer) Assassination(or Avenging Executioner if you prefer) Last skill is either Ninjitsu, Artful Dodger, Burglary, Piracy, Perception or Archeology. Dr. William "Bill" Nye Esq. Build: Mathemagic Rogue Scientist Alchemy Tinkering Magical Law or Ace Attorney Last skill is either Paranormal Investigator, Psionics, Astrology, Battle Geology, Fungal Arts or Archeology(or maybe you can have both Magical Law AND Ace Attorney)
Fire Breathing Wielder of Sticks and Fedoras Staff Mastery Dual Wielding Promethean Magic Psionics Blood Magic Archeology Berserker Rage I looked at some other suggested builds for going rogue and decided to combine bits and pieces into the most absurd thing I could think of. It's worked surprisingly well on the first few floors so far.
