I have a couple of concerns with mouse movement and summoned creatures. These are from 1.06 play experiences, so I'm not sure if anything has changed with the newest version ( I didn't see it in the 1.08 patch notes).

If you are navigating the game with the mouse the summoned creatures frequently get in your way. I understand that I can use the WASD keys to walk through them, but it would be nice if there was some way to do the same thing while using the mouse to walk.

Also it is a bit aggravating that you can attack your own summoned creatures while navigating with the mouse. Sometimes I'll click on the square I want to move to, and before I get there my summoned creature moves into that square and my character will attack it. I also noticed that if you take vampirism that you can just attack a summon to get your health back, which takes a lot of the challenge out of the game.

I agree with most points here, maybe it's time to implement a pet command? Like ctrl-click? Context sensitive, of course, click empty space-go there; an enemy-attack; the pet itself-wait. Either that or make them less obtrusive (no trap triggering, completely intangible to the player, etc.).
