Seems my ranged attack power isn't going up when I increase Thrown Weapons as a skill. Supposed to be getting +4 Crushing for the whole set, but it changes nothing.

    Thanks.

See it's a bit misleading, but that stat is crossbow damage and crossbow damage only. The thrown damages aren't displayed anywhere, but they benefit from the skill bonuses, as well as any bonuses from non-weapons.

Well, I knew the bonuses from Unarmed Combat stacked with Throwing. It's just odd that those bonuses would appear in Ranged Damage when they don't assist bows. Guess that's what made me assume it was tracking my Throwing Damage rather than Crossbow Damage.

Well unarmed is glitched to affect bows and thrown items at the moment, it does benefit them but it's not intended for either of them or thrown.

I thought the glitch was only for bows. Figured it was supposed to effect Throwing damage, since melee power does effect it (And I assume that's intended, since it's in the tooltip). I've always paired those two together anyway.

If Unarmed stops assisting Throwing, I can't help but think it's a shafted skill tree. Bows have the stats from the equipped bow assisting the skill tree damage (Which is also slightly more than Throwing), as well as a proc skill that has knockback. Very little reason to take Throwing Weaponry if it doesn't scale with Unarmed. Or does crossbow damage support thrown damage too? If so--that's what should be fixed. :p

Well it scales with melee power, which is the main perk, plus it's better at crits than crossbows (as it has more mundane damage to crit with). And unarmed giving it is a glitch either way, and it's good without it. Crossbow damage doesn't affect thrown damage.

The point is the benefit of throwing is that it scales to melee power and has significantly more mundane damage which makes it good with crits.
