seeing as the clockwork knight is bugged and dose not give you the recpie for tinker's goggles dose any one have an inventery editor so i can just add the goggles to my invent or a way to just give myself the recipe.
Tinker's Goggles were part of the game before Clockwork Knight ever existed. The recipe is on a bookshelf somewhere unless you are really unlucky. Also, the Goggles will show up at some point in the dungeon. I just checked and it is part of the core game files so no expansions are needed to ever have them. Edit: I should mention that I haven't heard of any type of inventory editor for the game but I have never needed one for this or any other game so it may exist and I just haven't heard of it.
yes but you see as a clockwork knight i should have the recipe at level 1 i had the parts i needed to make them by halfway through floor 2 and it wasnt untill floor 4 that i picked them up as loot and if for any reason i needed another pair i wouldnt be able to make them to craft them into a different helm, more damge on my clockwork knight skills and boosting my tinker level
I'm 99% sure Clockwork Knight isn't supposed to give you the recipe for the Tinkerer's Goggles. You'll just need to get lucky with bookshelves.
http://www.dredmorwiki.com/wiki/Clockwork_Knight theres also a thread in the modding section showing it in the code and proving its a bug cant find the link edit also i asked for a way to get the item/recipe not weather or not the clockwork knight was supposed to give it or not
Is either the Stosic or J-factor datamine-wiki still current? I've been away a bit, but those were always much more up-to-date for most things.
J-Factor's is a little outdated but much less than the wikis. I don't know about the other one and have lost the URL.
http://community.gaslampgames.com/threads/clockwork-knight-no-goggles-bug.4446/ theres the thread showing the code and again the thread is not about weather or not it should start with the recipe but how to get the recipe with means other then the games standard way of obtaining it
I wasn't even aware you were supposed to get the goggles recipe. Unfortunately, that thread is from 7 months ago, and the issue probably won't get fixed (or at least won't get fixed soon) at this rate. I'm not a developer, but I'm unaware of an inventory editor or anything like that. Recipes can only be learned from bookshelves or Alien Autopsy in Paranormal Investigator, so it's a bit late for that unless you JUST started up a new character. However... I always find at least one pair of goggles per game (I don't play on No Time To Grind), and you'll probably eventually just find the helmet you want to make, anyway. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
