I'm using WASD with Move as combat/use on. If a monster is standing on a door tile, my hero attempts to close the door (with the message "The doorway is blocked!") and wastes a turn instead of attempting to hit the monster. <a href="http://imgur.com/t7fh5" title="Hosted by imgur.com">Obligatory Screenshot</a>
I haven't seen that, specifically, but I am aware of a similar problem. I often use the mouse to move, which means that if I click to move one space (which I often do while maneuvering during combat), it's easy to accidentally close the door instead. It's not actually a bug (so far as I know), but it is something that has gotten me killed at least once.
It's a known bug, and is fixed in 1.04. Use the mouse to attack in doorways or, for the forgetful, use the mouse to attack always.
