In my current game, I cast Thaumecha-kinetic buff on myself before entering combat, and I tried to remove it when combat died down, simply because I also had Lesser Syzygy from the gargleblaster potion, and I didn't want to lose it. However, no amount of clicking on the 'x' in the corner of the buff would make it go away. I've never had this problem before, so I'm not sure what could cause it. I was pissed off because I ended up losing the lesser Syzygy buff as a consequence.
Update to this -- it seems that (at least recently) I simply need to click on the 'X' repeatedly before it actually registers.
