When you have a lot of buffs going and their icons carry over into a second or third column the upkeep counters and hit counters on the buffs to the left get obscured by the icons for the buffs listed in the next column to the right. (I'd post a screenshot but I don't know how to take one (not without using the saved game thumbnail tool which only captures the center of the screen and wouldn't be useful for this at any rate)
