So i had a few save games with different skills and felt like just rushing with one of them, i had the viking skill tree that gives the attack buff, then died with him and loaded a different character that didnt have viking skill tree and accidentally pressed right click and i got the magic steel buff from that tree.
Yeah it's a known bug. Whatever skill you had primed on a previous character, you can load up a different character and right click to use it.
