And it is oh so satisfying. First Dredmor kill today! Took me 51 hours, but I finally beat him on DMPD, NTTG. Skillset, all maxed with a level to spare: Promethean Mathemagic Magic Training Blood Mage Leylines Burglary Archaeology Forgot to take a screenie before I killed Lord D, so no final stats to show off. Now onto the wonderful world of mods!
Wow. That's eerily close to the build I used on my first win, except I had Tinkering for traps, rather than Archaeology. Well done, Mieu. And remember, the very first mod to get is Interior Dredmorating. It really ups variety.
Congrats! I'm still working on sticking with someone long enough to kill Dred. I definitely concur with Lorrelian, interior dredmorating is amazing! And it doesn't feel out of place in the slightest (if anything it feels more 'in place' than vanilla).
Congratulations! If you're starting with mods, I'll recomend my favourites: Interior Dredmorating Clockwork Knights + Megacrafts (together, of course), if you like crafting. Essential DoD Skills I & II, because all of them are awesome. Practical Geology, because it completes a warrior in an unique way. Runecaster, because... well, crafting runes, what more do you want? Elemental Warrior, because... well, I made it :3 These are those which I've played most, of course, there are tons of good mods that I've not tested yet
