I'm playing a build with warlock and astrology and all of my mana seems to get drained after using the "the stars aligned". /it appears that monster resistance to the spell triggers mana maille to kick in. Is this intended? edit?: it may also be due to something in empowered form im not sure. the full build i'm using is blood magic, vampirism, staves, shield bearer, astrology, warlockery, and wandcrafting
To be clear I am not talking about the draining effect already present. What seems to happen is that following casting the spell, enemy resistances trigger mana maille resistance and drains my mana further. This causes me to instantaneously lose my empowered form if I cast a spell within a group of enemies
