Was I wrong in not taking any self-healing skills for my melee Rogue Going Rogue?

Dual wield melee with no Vampirism or magic - did I just plain f*** up in not taking any magic skills?

I'm down on level 7 and ending up re-rolling all my items with Archaeology (not seeing how it's OP, powerful yes, but OP?) til I get Health Regen on them and then having to back up a level or two, speed up time compression and walk back and forth.

Rumour has it there are scripts you can use to auto-press the space bar a bunch, but ...meh.

Yeah, you need to take at least fungal arts, vamp, psionics, or necromancy.

Or a fruit staff. I mean, given he can't change his skill trees at this point without starting over.

I find that you don't NEED healing if you have a defensive enough build, and are just patient.... very patient.

If you don't take any healing skills, just make sure you don't eat ANYTHING until maybe dlvl 5. The exceptions being the 'I'm about to die next turn' situations. Still, fungal arts is basically the non-magic healing of choice. Slvl 1 is good enough to get you healing for quite some time, slvl 2 will distract enemies very well, and slvl 3 basically means that every corpse is a healing potion.

You can probably sneak down to DL 10 at this point and just kill dreadmore if you have some escape skills, bolts, wands, and consumables saved up.

At DL7 your character should be maxed out anyway. Just sprint to the end.
