Fifth floor of the dungeon, Monster Zoo. I toss in a pair of Brimstone potions since I've got some distance between myself and the monsters. Suddenly I level, not once but twice in immediate succession. I'm wondering if maybe it was counting the kills twice or something?
If your playing on "No time to grind" and are ahead of yourself (being down in dungeon level 2 when level 1 hasn't been cleared yet) then you can gain more experience from monsters. I'm not sure if thats enough to actually level you though. Edit: Boss monsters that spawn in zoo's can give lots of XP too.
