I just lost my first PC on dungeon level 10's monster zoo. More from bad luck than anything else. Time to re-roll a new PC. I was so hoping to at least get to Dredmor, too. Planned Skillset: Astrology, Tinkering, Archaeology, Blood Magic, Golemancy, Burglary, Promethean Magic. Any changes or modifications which might come of use here?
Tinkering, Burglary and Archaelogy might be a bit redundant. You only need one for trap stuff. Since you're running a magey build you might be better served by replacing one of them with another magic skill, perhaps some alchemy or emomancy for some heals.
