I am going to start making videos of YHTNTEP. What resolution would be best? What content do you want demonstrated and how long should they be? We will get Desura what they need to finally allow YHTNTEP.

Unfortunately Fraps does not want to work. All it has managed in the last hour of attempts is open 19 useless windows Explorer sessions that do nothing but consume memory. The keybinding does not seem to make it actually record.

Anyone have an idea how to do this?

The reason fraps doesn't work is something related to the whole steam overlay issue as well, there was a workaround a long time ago... But I do not remember what it is. It's been literally a year.

If you do ever get it up and running I'd like to see how you do a Wizard. I suck at wizards.

I would like to see you do videos on this.

What I would like to see you do is play on Elvish Easy. :p

When I thought Fraps would actually bother to record I first started a few base game characters and played them on EE, but then I remembered I was using Elvish Reality and had to manually remove it before my next attempt. :)

Only solutions for recording DoD that I've seen involve using -directx and/or -opengl as launch command options on the steam executable, and I doubt this will still work since one of the recent updates broke -opengl. Knowing you, Omni, I'll take a wild guess you're not interested in using Steam to run DoD anyway. ;)

You have that right. But I thought the -opengl flag worked even outside of Steam?
