Lucky Pick changes?

I thought that, as recently as the poetically alliterative 1.1.11, I was able to use Lucky Pick to create more picks. But my wife, whose current build includes Burglary, informs me that it now only opens doors. She's steamed. As an informatics specialist who maintains her RN degree from 35 years ago, I wouldn't be surprised if the development team receives a flying visit from a rectal thermometer. Just saying.

It's an oversight, Nicholas posted they forgot that burglary opened chests.

Does that mean there's intent to 'fix' this?

I actually really like the change. I have tons of picks for just chests, and doors are auto-picked for me. This makes it where I still want to hang onto picks (aka, not Lutefisk them all), but I get to save them for the good stuff, and not have to tediously micromanage my inventory to make sure I don't accidently pick a door. I think it's a really good balance.

Yeah, but if you don't have burglary and want to save picks you constantly have to remove them before clicking on a door. I'm willing to break the doors but it's a major pain trying to save the picks just for the chests.

Oh, totally. TBH, this is the main reason I almost always take Burglary in every build I ever play. If there was a way to turn off lockpicking of doors, I'd be much more likely to play non-Burglary builds.
