One of my favorites is The Squaemous Guacamole. The word "Squaemous" just makes the guac sound extra squishy.

    P-something "the Cheese-based Cheese"

As opposed to being based on what...?

I keep forgetting to screenshot artifact/enemy names but I have a few room names that stood out from playing earlier:

    The Enormous Shaft (Dirty Mind)
    The Unsettling Forge of Communism
    The Canadian Bakery of Apologies
    The Maze of Sausages

Well, as someone who has tried various and sundry vegan cheeses, I can safely say that there are certainly things that cheese can be based upon that cheese certainly should never be based upon.

I had "The Cheese-based defenestration" once. I just imagine a giant cheese-made catapult, tossing people out of windows.

The Killer of Breadfruits is good too.

Bonus points for knowing what Defenestration means. :)
    It's a fairly uncommon word.

I know I want to do that to my computer a lot when it messes up.

I never actually looked up that word... In my mind I just replaced it with "deforestation", which made some names really amusing :)

Defenestation means throwing something out, like out of the window. Or throwing someone, either way it's amusing.

I am an English major. I've known what it meant since I was twelve :p

Almost. It means to throw something (or even someone) specifically out of a window.

If I throw a ball through an open door, I haven't defenestrated it.

You are most probably correct. It' is not like I use this word on a daily basis, so I'll trust you there.

Well, in German (and IIRC in Dutch too) "fenster" means "window". It's not the same word, but it is quite similar, so a little knowledge of foreign languages may kick you in the right way.
Also our Western neighbours (Czechs) had Defenestration of Prague (as per Wikipedia, I did not know the exact english name of that event) which started the 30 years' war, so the term defenestration is quite known here around. :)

Wait, they threw Prague out of a window?
Truly, the Czech Republic is to be feared if they can throw a city out of a window. :)

Yes, I know that's not what they meant. I was just making a fairly bad joke.

Don't mess with the Czechs! Or they will come to your home, drink all your beer (or what passes for beer wherever you live) and then defenestrate your whole friggin' city!

Not an artifact, but today I discovered a room called "The Non-Euclidean Jail of Whales!"

    Unappetizing Breakfast Cereal, huh...

From the company that brought you Squaemous Guacamole, Gaslamp Games is now proud to present "Diggles & Bits," the first ever Dredmor-based cereal! Eat it out of your Horadric Lutefisk Cube...IF YOU DARE.

After plushies, Gaslamp games should release Dredmor-based food. Who wants a Root of T'Char chewing-gum ?

And no diggle shall ever call my masculinity into question again!

(just don't ask how I disarm traps with it)

I guess you throw it on the trap, wrap it up and then pick it up very carefully.
