"Ack!" exclaims Rantic when he sees Swig vanish. He tries to find any clue of what just happened, but there's just no explanation that satisfies him. Maybe it's a temporary thing? He follows the rest to the cetipede room and while still wrapped up in his thoughts he looks around for anything that cathes his eye, also on the ceiling.
Searching reveals that the bone pile is indeed adventurer remains. You find: One silvery colored potion, one ring with a mirror emblem, one fairly heavy rod, one scroll, two staves, one wand, a sword in a sheath, and a book. There are no secret doors or mechanisms.
" The stuff we're not able to identify we could show to Brax. He seemed to know a bunch about items."
The thick tome contains exercise descriptions and diet suggestions. "Back already? You haven't been gone an hour!" Brax says. You show him the items. "Ok, let me take a look." He pulls out a pair of glasses, and begins to look at all the stuff. As he does, he pulls out a parchment and writes stuff down for each. Soon he hands the party the parchment. Potions Potion of Enlarge Person Rings Ring of Spell Turning Rods Rod of Viper Scroll Arcane Charm Person (l1, cl1) Staves Staff of Fire (39 charges) Staff of Transmutation (1 charges) Wands Suggestion (l3, cl5) (29 charges) Weapons Sun Blade Wondrous Items Manual of Gainful Exercise (+5, unused) "So, how much of that are you wanting to sell?"
"A manual of exercise! I could definitely use more exercise," Hort looks down at herself and turns left and right. "Look at me! I'm practically made of sticks. Very fleshy sticks at that though." Hort pauses for a moment then shakes her head, "What a terrible thought..." Hort returns attention to the people around her "So I'll take the manual if no one else wants it, what else should we take with us?"
" You sure you dont want to become a giant dwarf while you're at it ?" A grin on his face, Torma shows the potion to Hort. "Otherwise all these things seem to possibly get useful in time. I am especially interested in that ring. Finally something that could protect me from damn magic spells ! I also suggest to keep the Staff of fire and the sun blade, whoever keeps it."
"Surprised you're not all over that Spell Turning thingy, there, Torma, what with yer disapproval of casters 'nall. That said, if y'all don't want it, I certainly wouldn't mind having a bit o' protection from the lich-king's magic. Also, a shiny sword to go with my dark ol' axe sounds like fun. Hey, snorter, you wouldn't happen t'want'a buy a big ol' Hound Arkanoid's sword, wouldja? I'd rather put the shiny one in my other hand."
"I'm quite interested in the ring of spell turning, and in much lesser degree in the wand of suggestion and the staffs. For now, the only thing I think would be good to sell is the rod of viper, and possibly the scroll of charm too." "We can always redistribute the items as the situation needs, by the way, if we're working together we might as well do it as efficiently as possible." Rantic seems unhappy about something.
Torma grumbles. " Hmm. The ring should probably go to someone who goes in front you know, we're more likely to get directly hit by spells."
"While Torma has a good point, I'm willing to leave it to chance." Berz gets out a copper piece. "Flip ya for it?"
"Yes, someone in front makes more sense. Usually. We could also just treat all loot as group-loot, which does get distributed for use of course, but that the real final ownership distribution in the end is among those of us that actually get out alive?"
" Unless the user gets teleported into some unknown place like Swig did, heh. Rantic, if keeping the loot afterwards is what worries you, you'll be fine; All that I find here is yours to keep once I get my revenge. "
" Agreed also to take turns and consider those as group loot. Berz, you just got yourself the sunblade so I hope you dont mind that I take the ring for now."
Ok, this has gone on a while. Would it be easier if you all just submited what you want, and might use, and I roll like an MMO for the loot? Just seeing if it would help.
