"Sounds like a plan." Berz takes the sunblade, stores it in his glove, and hands the Archon's greatsword to Brax. "Here, ol' chap. Count this as a down payment on our next night or twelve in the hotel, yes?"
"If we're all sorted out, then I suggest we move on. I'm sure those rats are done... Errr uhhh, well done by now." Hort makes a rather odd grin.
Torma looks greatly relieved. " Sounds right. Also, I've found this earlier." He pulls out a Modular Alchemy Kit, a Porta-Still and a couple of signet rings. " If no one has use for those, we might as well sell them too. "
"I'll carry the staffs and wand then. Brax, what do we get for the scroll and the rod of viper? And yeah, let's go."
( How much did we sell the stuff for ? ) Torma sniffs the charred rat smell in the air. " I feel hungry now." He searches for holes where rats could have fled to. " Hey, maybe we should block any small passageways they could have fled to. Gotta keep them from coming back."
(Based on what was listed as sold, the party has 10,622gp) There are about 2 dozen small holes, most covered by charred rats.
Berz scrapes the char off and eats a couple of rats. After sprinkling them with salt. Then he looks around and shrugs. "Don' really think we hafta worry about the holes. Rats don't like the smell of burned rat."
"Think the rats hid any shiny tid bits in the holes? Contemplate that while I check out these doors." Hort searches (+12) the areas around the two doors that are closed and the doors themselves.
"Mmm" Meanwhile, Torma searches the room for any useful objects that could be hidden under bodies. He peeks into the non blocked rat holes, and if there isnt anything shiny inside he blocks them with junk he finds around.
Rantic just stands there leaning on his scythe seeing the rest moving about on the floor, along the walls, at the doors.
There is nothing around the doors or portcullis, nothing in the holes, and nothing in the room in general. The east door is locked, and Berz can hear a familiar scratching in the room beyond.
"Sounds like more of them bugs in here." Berz points at the east door. "Don't hear anything at the other."
