Rantic turns towards the south and goes to stand a little to the west from the center but sort of in the middle of the room. He quickly takes a sip of his water and then stands at the ready with his Scythe and mentally prepared to cast. "Great, action! I can certainly use some more kills!"
Suddenly, a medium sized black dragon bursts into the room and settles in the center. "Trying to surprise me? Bring it on!" Initiative Order: Torma Rantic Hort Dragon Danton Berz Everyone get me actions. No surprise round.
Danton casts Prayer centered on himself, which affects everyone within 40 feet (that should get everyone, yeah?) (From the SRD: You bring special favor upon yourself and your allies while bringing disfavor to your enemies. You and your each of your allies gain a +1 luck bonus on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saves, and skill checks, while each of your foes takes a -1 penalty on such rolls.)
"OH, SNAP! IT'S A GODDAMN DRAGON!" Rage. Charge 10' forward (+2 attack). Attack. (+15 to hit, 1d12+3d6+10 damage, 20/x3 crit, 1d6 self-damage, 1d6 vampiric heal.)
(Yeah, it gets everyone, TJM. Everyone, keep in mind the only one who will benefit from Dantons spell this round is Berz. Everyone else acts before him.)
"Juvenile, spits acid, watch out." Rantic radiates his Aura of Fear ((free action)), then attempts to Charnel Touch the Dragon with Scabrous Touch [1d8+8 damage + a disease] and steps backwards, retreating without giving an attack of opportunity.
Hort draws his weapons. He holds a raiper in his right hand that starts crackling with electricity and a shadowy, completely black dagger in his left. Hort stabs the dragon with both her weapons (R: +22 1d4+5 17-20x2 L: +9 1d3 17-20x2)
A gust of air disarranges Torma's hairs as he looks at what was a closed door half a second ago. He spins around and hears the beast challenge them. " What the... " Recovering quickly from his surprise, he rushes forward and hacks at the dragon with the sword in his right hand. [+11; 1d8+1d6+5] [+7; 1d8+1d6+5]
Torma whips around and slashes at the dragon. (d20+11=28: Hit; 1d8+5=8; 1d6=1)(d20+7=23: Hit; 1d8+5=9; 1d6=6) The dragon looks pointedly at Rantic. “Sorry, not strong enough.” Rantic responds by touching the dragons nose. (d20+3=22: Hit; 1d8+8=11; d20+10=12: Diseased; 1d4=4 str damage: d20+10=13: Blinded) The dragon, considerably weaker and apparently blind, screams in rage. Hort takes this chance to skewer the beast. (d20+22=25: Hit; 1d4+5=9)(d20+9=13: Miss) The dragon thrashes about, but does not hit anyone. Danton preys to his goddess, and a bright white light suffuses the room. Berz flips the heck out and rushes forward, slashing the dragon. (d20+15=: 31; 1d12+3d6+11=:34 ; 6 self-damage, 3 vampiric heal) “I will end you, you miserable maggots!” The dragon is very damaged and bloody. One of his wings is tattered, and his eyes have gone white with blindness. Actions please.
Rantic somehow doubts the dragon will end the party. "Feel the cold relentless grip of Death, beast!", says Rantic and casts Inflict Serious Wounds [3d8 + 8 damage], he also stops radiating Fear.
Avoiding the blind monster's wild move, Torma swiftly slashes three times at the beast's belly. [+7; 1d8+1d6+5] [+8; 1d8+6] [+3; 1d8+1d6+5]
"Now that the prayer is over, time to lay down the punishment!" Danton swings his morningstar twice at whatever part of the dragon he can reach. (+11; 1d8+6+1d6) (+6; 1d8+6+1d6)
"Somehow I doubt that!" Hort goes all out this time striking once again with both weapons (R: +22 1d4+5 17-20x2 [two attacks] L: +9 1d3 17-20x2)
