Hort walks in the room and looks around. Hort comes over to the statue and gives the area around it a quick search (+13)
It is brass, about 1' cubed, and has a large hole on one face. Inside is some lutefisk. You smell brimstone and bacon from the west door, but nothing from any of the other doors. You hear coins being counted from the west door. Other then the cube, you don't find anything important.
Berz returns to the group (presumably at the statue/cube) and says "There's people to the west. That's all I got."
"If Berz could detect their presence, then they could detect ours. Let's go check out West and come back here later."
"Oh. We're in the process of killing them, you know... regular dungeon stuff." Torma looks around to find what is causing the brimstone and bacon smell.
Berz walks up to Brax and sniffs him. "You just finish breakfast? Or do you always smell pan-fried?" ... "Nevermind. Hey, we'll be back, OK? Got more doors to open, Derro to find and disassemble. You know." Berz walks out, following the left wall, until he gets to the next door, which he opens. (BTW, you described this as the "west" door, but the west door leads to Inconsequentia. Is this the "east" door, then? So Berz would be opening the eastern of the two south doors?)
"Woahey ! Wait up Berz. I wanna check out the Fishy artefact first." Going back to the Lutefisk god statue, Torma adresses the statue. " Fish God, is there anything you can tell us about the object at your feet... flippers... slimy appendices ? "
Crap, it keep doing that! It is what I get for being a theater geek. It is the east door. I will post a map later. For now, his room 55'x40', and there are 2 doors in the northeast corner(double checked this time!) and a portcullis set in the north wall. The god says nothing.
"Damn, guess I'll need your knowledge Rantic." Torma picks up the cube " Other than that, we can proceed."
