Torma swims to the statue and starts feeding it " Guys, we have a weapon here. Just turn it towards any vile entity and throw a purse with a few hundred coins in it... Crush the thing to death with a geyser of lutefisk against the walls."
Exhausted, Torma checks if there's any reward. He then looks at barbarian" Berz, you still holding that door knob ? You're a patient fellow."
"Now that's useful, that belt. But ehh... let's not waste good coins people... geez. Just throw in some rocks or threads from an old scarf or such." Rantic's Raven seems to enjoy pecking at the lutefisk.
"Well that belt is a lot more valuable than a few coin yeah? I'd say we got what we paid for. Now that we're done here though we should move on."
" Yeah Rantic but... I think I'd feel bad for feeding a god some rocks. I'm not THAT cheap." Torma shows the belt to Danton "Dantoooon... would you like that belt ?"
"Don't like the god nor the stinky fish, but you do like the easy reward." Torma winks. He walks up to Berz's door.
As you all approach to open the door, it opens. Before you is a young boy, maybe 15. He is dressed in diggle pelts. "Who are you?"
Hort steps up "Hello sir. Those are some mighty fine pelts you have there! I am Hort and these are some people I travel with in this horrifying scary, big dungeon. Who might you be? You look rather young to be walking around down here."
"I'm Rain. I'm training to be a hunter, yes." He sniffs Berz, then seems surprised. Very solemnly, he says,"Badger, badger, badger, badger, badger..." He looks expectantly at Berz.
Berz nods solemnly. "Mushroom? Mushroom." Berz holds his hand out to Rain and says "A hunter is a thing of beauty, a part of the cycle. But there are bigger things. Bigger cycles. Prey more worthy of your skill. Come with us, and I'll show you."
"You know of the Badgers! Come with me!" He turns and bolts down the short hall and around the corner.
