Holy crap, there is a little village here! You see a bunch of floor to ceiling walls made out of random pieces of wood. The boy runs up to an older man and points back at you. "He knows of the Badgers dad!" The man looks at you. "Well met! What are your names, adventurers?"
Berz holds up his hand in greetings. "Hello, elder. I'm Berz. This is Ace, Commando, Darky, and Grumpy."
"I am Comma- I mean, Hi, I'm Hort. Pleasant to meet you. What an interesting village you have down here in this scary dungeon!"
"I'm Danton Swift. I have to say, I didn't expect to see any friendly life down here. By the by, have any of you seen a stone hand from a statue around here?"
He smiles. "Yes, we really live down here. and we are not the only ones. I have not seen a stone hand, no. But come, you must be tired! Sit, and we will talk." He waves at someone in one of the buildings, and they begin to bring out some food. "So, my boy tells me you know of the Badgers?"
"I am of the Badgers." Berz pops a Badger out of his Bag of Badgers and holds it aloft before tossing it into the floor. "Tell me, what do you know of them?"
"Badgers are the emissaries of the nature avatar of our world. They are holy berserkers worthy of emulation. The song is about the lives of these majestic creatures and how it meshes with our own here in the dungeon: 'Badger, badger, badger, badger' talks about the numbers of them you can find most anywhere. Like the badgers, small villages like this one are all over the dungeon. 'Mushroom? Mushroom.' speaks to the eternal search for food that everyone faces. 'Snake, snake ooh its a snake!' talks about the need to ferociously defend your family and home. But come, the priest can answer your questions better then I." He directs Berz toward a shack. "You all may wander our village freely. Talk to us, we my have something of use to teach you, but only the gods can decide who among us is the best to do that."
Berz turns to the rest of the group. "Y'all have some fun. Try to relax a bit. Way better here than in Snouty's abodes. I'mma go...uhh...learn." Berz heads straight into the shack.
"Welp, I guess we can all meet back up over here later. I wonder if there is anything sweet to eat down here." With that, Hort wanders off into the village. Hort tries to find any kind of public eating area or bakery.
Torma takes off his ring and the feather disappears. He goes out of the shack and seems a bit lost and uncomfortable, in the middle of the village.
Danton notices that Torma looks uncomfortable, and walks over to him. "Hey... What do you say we try to find some kind of merchant who might have some cool nature stuff?"
" Err yeah, sure. What do you mean by cool nature stuff ? Like... Organic food ? Or more badger related things ? "
"You're a ranger kinda guy, aren't you? I thought you might be interested in seeing what these people would have to offer for someone like you."
" Yes I'm certain we have much to learn from people who were able to survive in such a place. I just feel weird: I havent seen that many people in one place in... some time. Please lead the way, I will follow."
You find some women baking some cheese danishes. "Want some? We will even teach you to make them." You two wander for a while, and see a very small training floor. One of the people training looks over. "You seem to be the kind of person who wants to fight the creatures here. Want to learn what we know?" He points to Torma. Rantic seems to have disappeared, but you notice him in another shack, talking with someone.
