Ok everyone, I have a question for the PC's. I have given a lot of thought to the crafting systems in both DoD and D&D. It would be difficult to find two systems more different. I have looked at the available crafting systems, and the one I think works best for the way this campaign is structured is here. I allows creation on the fly, but still requires a significant investment of resources. I am open to other options, however, so please, post opinions.
Is there any way to get crafting points other than leveling/feats? It seems like the amount given might be spent quickly
Also, keep in mind that those not crafting something of their own can spend points to assist those who are.
Of course. You can always take a rank or two in any of the crafting skills when you level. You can also take one of the Item Creation feats if you want to make magic items. The problem with magic items is that your character must know magic. You can also craft the item, and have someone else enchant it later.
