Twenty might be a tad long, if it's intended to be useful. Maybe 5-turn bursts would be more controllable?
I'm a bit confused why it crashed my game though, Fax, that's the part I don't like. I can live with teleporting away randomly. I just can't use it because it crashes.
I don't know why it crashed either. At least the new Diggle God of Mediocrity is nice. His altar spawns with random artifacts in front of it. Which can be nice. Looking forward to the Booze one. Good news, Diggle God of Booze makes me realize why Alchemy is way overpowered in earlier versions and was nerfed. So many healing potions. Also, Mojito still super crashes Dredmor, completely, and totally. Freezes it, and the only way to ever use my computer again is to get Task Manager to close it. Which is sometimes problematic, because I can't alt-tab out of the Dredmor window when it freezes like that, making it nearly impossible to get to Task Manager if it's not set up to always be on top. I have no idea what happened here. Something in the code for the Mojito crashes my computer something fierce. Or it doesn't like mace users.
sprites/sfx/lightningarc/lightningarc0000.png not found. The game will probably crash! And it does. Also, malwarebytes didn't like the mod, and wanted to quaranteen it.
Malwarebytes sometimes gets minor hiccups, just like any other program. This mod is clean, I can assure you of that.
I don't know if it's intended or not, but there is an exploit with the tiki bar. The event that happens in the tiki bar can be trigger multiple times just by entering and exiting what counts as the room. This leads to the ability to gather hundreds of the drinks, food and regents that the events spawns it very little time.
...I thought -1 meant "do it once and never again". Will fix in the morning. Aegho, delete your FaxPax and redownload. It shouldn't be doing that at all: I fixed that in 0.6.RevA.
Not to derail the topic, but any antiviral software that pretends ANY mod for DoD is unsafe is simply lying to make you paranoid so they can compel you to throw money at them. Why do I say this? Because all mods for DoD have no executables at all. Thus it is physically impossible for them to harm your system. When you get money for making people think every file is suspicious, you will add things to your list of checksums that are bad without bothering to research if they actually are. Malwarebytes is clearly doing this. Use Spybot S&D to keep your system clean. Malwarebytes is commercial. Spybot is not. And if you need to scan things for viruses, use Clamwin. Again it is free. (Clamwin does not arbitrarily scan everything until you tell it to. It is entirely manual.) It will not try to convince you that every other file is secretly conspiring with your toaster-oven against you. *Edit* Oh, here is Clam Sentinel. It allows you to have all the autoscanning like other AV suites, but again no price. (It is an add-on to Clamwin, not standalone.)
My game crashes when I try to select "Stone Sole" or "Ancestral Body Paint" when I level up. I managed to pick "Second Sight" instead without the game crashing, and I'm not sure if it was a one-time-only bug. This is the only mod I have installed (version 0.7), on game version 1.0.10
I have a boatload of mods including FAXPAX 7.0RevA and I just made a character with Berserker Rage and leveled up to test. ABP causes no crash for me. I have no idea what your problem is. I do not even recall what skill Stone Sole is tied to.
You may have discovered a bug in the core game. Does it occur if you're not using the mod? (Don't try using a save started with FaxPax without the mod on, you'll have to test using a new game.)
You might be running into this: http://community.gaslampgames.com/threads/random-crash-once-quest-completed.2987/ Did your character have one of the dragon aspirants skills, perhaps? They all leave lingering spell mines.
