    Newest verison of FaxPax crashes my game, gives me a missing art error for PNG file sprites/dfa_breath_fire32.png.

    Something DA related?

    -8:nimbleness: over 8 levels translates to -4:dodge:, -2:edr:, -1:counter:, -6:sneakiness:. This change increases that to -8:dodge:, -4:edr:, -2:counter:, -12:sneakiness:. It's still not much, but it's more significant.

    And yes, while gold's properties are malleability and conductivity, in the name of balance it makes you more susceptible to voltaic damage and heavier (read: slower (read: less likely to hit or dodge (read: nested comments are fun))).

    When you run out of letters, you should go into greek alphabet :p

    All in all, FaxPax has always been a massive undertaking. It adds many things, and usually adds a bug or two ever other version that are quickly squashed like a Diggle.

    I think abandoning the commenting out for No-DA is better. It is one less thing to bother with every new version.

    Also, when you run out of letters, just add a decimal and another letter/number. (I.E. .7.0RevZ.1 and so on forevermore.)

    Thank you for explaining it, Fax, and Megaron.
    I must admit my knowledge of metallurgy is very small. :)

    Gold is the only metal known to be able to retain its properties while pressed out to a single molecule thick. This is the material used on the glass pull-down visor for the helm of a Space-Suit. If not for that, anyone who left the atmosphere of Earth would instantly be blinded permanently by all the high energy photons flying about.

    That is also why all existing CPUs use gold. Nothing else can be manufactured that is electrically conductive in so fine pattern as needed for logic bridges to work at high (relative) speeds.

    Ignore everything I just said and read that. Now we return to your regularly scheduled FAXPAX.

    Was coming over here to report a crash bug, only to discover that my bug had already been fixed in the latest release just a couple hours ago. Now that's customer service. Thanks, Fax!

    Not exactly. People have been ejected into space and survived without going blind, without a suit or a helmet. I think the limit is like 1 minute and 15 seconds before you have issues.

    Interesting to learn that stuff about Gold. Now back to the topic before Fax punches me.

    Sorry if this has already been reported.

    Running 0.7 RevG and getting an error with Meteorology

    Seems some of the buffs are pointing to the skills folder rather than the skills/meteo folder

    SpellDB.xml Line 629:
    <buff useTimer="1" time="200" removable="0" allowstacking="0" icon="sprites/skills/predict_snow_64.png" smallicon="sprites/skills/predict_snow_32.png">

    Tacow has:

    <drop name="TACO" percent="50"/>

    Yet there is no TACO item in your itemdb.xml

    Whoops, will fix in the morning.

    Not implemented yet, placeholder for when it is.

    I see. Well, you could add the Taco item as a placeholder, too. Then you're all set when the feature is added. You can even mark it as special="1" so it won't spawn randomly from chests and things.

    I'd need to put together the sprite for it, which is really what I'm stalling on. I'll do it soon, probably next patch (RevH? 0.8?).

    Fax, have you got some odd-shaped zoos in Fax Pak? If so, there's a bug report that's probably for Fax Pax over in the DLC feedback thread.

    Zoos over-ride all rooms within their rectangular borders (the width="20" height="20" whatever line) to count as part of the zoo. Every room that has even one tile within that area counts as part of the zoo. Or rather, just the tiles within that rectangular area count as part of the zoo. This can cause all sorts of problems, such as failed zoos that can't be completed and never give a reward, stairs opening into zoos, zoo counts that aren't accurate, 100-space zoos with only 7 monsters, etc. I tested a bunch of oddball-shaped non-standard zoos myself several weeks back and found them to be really buggy and unreliable.

    I strongly recommend giving all zoos a rectangular border of walls to prevent the bug. It sucks because you can't be as creative with them, but it's much better than the very unpredictable bugs that unbordered zoos can cause.

    Yeah. That room is in an unreleased, test mod. I'm going to fill in the empty space with hard walls but keep the shape, I think. Or maybe just remove the zoo flag.

    Is this how Tacow is supposed to look when she dies? I think I mentioned this once before, and I recall you saying that it's not normal. Yet I just peeked in your mod folder and this is exactly what the PNGs looks like. She looks very silly when she dies.

    The death anim is technically correct. I just don't know why it's not erasing every layer.

    Your sprite/tacow folder contains loose PNGs and every individual frame looks just like that.
