So I picked up some items at Brax's, you know, just to try them on. Well, I may have stepped into my pocket dimension with said items. Sure... I had considered using those items conquesting some wizardlands, but I intended to put them back or buy them with my earnings. Apparently Brax noticed my dimensional travel and put a hit out on me. Now, I'm an Interdimensional outlaw, and I can't return to DL2 until I'm ready to face the dred collectors. Sweet.
Actually, there's the weird thing. I found yes, once you're in the pocket dimension, you are told you were a thief and that the dread collectors are coming for you. But once you step back out, Brax isn't hostile. The item is yours. You can pretty much hoover up every item in every store like this scot free. Maybe this was just with me, but I got a powerful +40 damage weapon like that on DL1.
