Not sure if it's a bug or what, but was getting murdered on the third level down by a monster with no name, just blank. shows " pierces you for 12!" - it all seems to be piercing damage it does, it resists the crap out of my damage, and it stalks me around the level. Not sure if it's a bug or what, but it's pretty harsh to suddenly get smashed by some invisible or bugged thing that hits for all piercing.
Yup, it was invisible.. I got lucky and blocked a few hits and managed to kill it. In any case, hitting for 12 piercing and being invisible on the third floor is maybe a bit heavy handed.
