    True dat.

Actually, this is incorrect. :melee_power: splits up between all your mundane damage types.

In this picture, I deal 3:dmg_crushing: 3:dmg_slashing: and I have 8:melee_power:. The damage is split up evenly and I deal 7:dmg_crushing: 7:dmg_slashing: which isn't resisted.

Then, for some reason, it gets wacky in the below picture (I seriously have no idea what is going on down there). I deal 4:dmg_crushing: 3:dmg_slashing:and I have 8:melee_power:. Logically, I should be dealing 8:dmg_crushing: 7:dmg_slashing: (or by your logic, 12:dmg_crushing: 3:dmg_slashing:) but instead I deal 6:dmg_crushing: 7:dmg_slashing:.

What is this I don't even...

That is because it broke, and they only learned about it a few days ago (pretty much by accident, even).

From what I know, they are working on fixing it.

Could you please redirect me to the bug report?

    Thank you.

I am literally freaking out. I can't play this game unless I know the details. All this random attitude is driving me crazy. sigh... :(

D-100 means it ranges between 1 and 00. Depending on the way it is made and what it is made for, 00 may be zero, or it may be one-hundred. Ever play with a ten sided die? Roll that ten times. But that generates a situation that has to be remedied in that the odds of zero are almost null. So there are d20s and even higher sided dice you can use.

It wasn't even a bug report. It was just part of a discussion in another thread ("how does armour work?", or something similar), something mentioned off-handily by me. And their response made it pretty clear that it was not working as intended and they just got to know then.

That was also remarked upon in other threads about the exotic damages, but some of those that remark upon this are too old to matter with the current game. Suffice it to say that you need not worry about the little things like this. You will not die in a fiery hellhole due to a few points being assigned a damage type you did not anticipate. (Your character may though.)

Please just relax. I promise that you will come to love the game even when it does stuff it should not and makes less than perfect sense.

Just gotta go with the flow man.

Just get your maces, assassination, berserk rage, master of arms, dual wielding, smithing and go crush some diggles and get ANGRY

The thread? Sure. Easy as pie. The issue in the thread is another matter. That is why we have no responded. It can be a pain to find anything with so many bugs reported, some fixed, some not, and little if any way to discern the difference. The Changelog may also help. I will post that after the thread you requested. (This one is 23 pages of bug reports... Sorry. :()

And here is the patch changelog. I hope this helps.
