simple solution: one of you should add a space after the name of the item everywhere it appears in your XML. So one has "strawberries" and the other has "strawberries ". It'll be virtually unnoticable in-game, and solve the problem entirely.
True. Or you could settle the dispute like Gentlemen and engage in a round of fisticuffs. I kid, I kid. I support Essence's idea.
-RNG Shenanigans. The acid spit spell they use is gargoyle acid bolt, the exact same one used for traps, 10% chance. Nevertheless, I've moved some of their base damage from acidic to blasting (four points, to be exact). For comparison, the cast chance of octos is 1/8. -Making Mana Hunters chicken would be frustrating for melee, which I don't want. Again, RNG shenanigans - I haven't touched them since about v0.3 or so. Nevertheless, I've lopped off a level (they now have 10 mage and 2 rogue levels, compared to the witchy's 9 mage and 2 rogue), increased the armour penalty, and slightly decreased their health in 0.46. We'll see how this plays out. -Strawberries are now Huge Strawberries.
Oh, I always wondered how come they're so annoying. Thank you for explaining about the upcoming changes. One at a time in melee, the Swamp Wyrmlings are manageable, but a ton of them spitting on you at once, with how hard acid resistance is to get a lot of, ow. I was lucky enough to make two blingy fishes though. Nothing says fun like hitting everything for 60 plus damage thanks to all the damages I hit with. OH, I found some recipes related to a silver bracelet, and a goddess Bracelet, but the requirement to make them is a steel bracelet, and I don't have the recipe for that. Nor have I found one yet. Is that recipe supposed to be hidden? If so, how come it's so hard to find? Er, Mining, I don't get it.
Blame the RNG. Although given how low-level the steel bracelet is, I'm going to unhide the recipe next version.
Ah. Okay. By the way, found that friendly shrine to Obsidia, where you can give it one of three gems. I used Emerald first, and I guess that was like a heal thing? I didn't see anything. I reloaded to see what a ruby did, and it gave me a nice long lasting damage buff. I liked that. I'm hoping the RNG decides to stop wasting bookcases and give me a recipe for blunt weapons that require Dragon skulls, otherwise I'm going to end up carrying this one around until the end of the game.
Maybe he had a stroke right before he wrote that? I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just offering a reason.
The idea is that a tiny, almost unnoticeable change is the largest change, i.e. an OCD person with their arrangement of X thrown out of whack, for example one portrait is an angle of 0.01 degrees off, so they adjust it,
Ah. I see. I have OCD, and it doesn't bother me. I suppose that's more to do with OCD having varying severities.
I too have what could be called OCD. But I believe it is one of the most generic terms used. I was "Diagnosed" with this after a Doctor observed that among other oddities, I eat candies by color, from what is most common to the least common. The Doctor asked if I could do it differently and I explained that I could, but it gets hard to stay on track and not revert to old habits. There are many worse things to be diagnosed with. Nonetheless the joke applies still. Some people with OCD would literally flip tables in anger at seeing a typo. Luckily most of them do not spend much time on the forums I presume.
I think many people have such a thing (I'm referring to the candy bit). I know I do, and I never got diagnosed with an OCD (then again, I'm crazy enough without another mental dysfunction added on top of that), and I think it's just something people got used to doing, and that an actual OCD takes the whole thing further than that.
Well I said among other oddities for good reason. Still I think of OCD as synonymous in many cases with hyperactivity. Doctors have a vested interest in diagnosing things in a way that justifies them "Treating" it in whatever manner they can manage. That is after all their livelihood. It is like a mechanic saying your fuel efficiency is lower than it should be. It does not really mean anything. It is just an excuse to squeeze your wallet some more. Sanity is relative. Most Doctors mean well, just like most mechanics. But a single crazy Doctor will certainly diagnose anyone with a number of wildly idiotic disorders. And if they protest then that is another diagnosis known as "Denial". But this is all wildly off topic. We could make a thread, but we probably should not. Feel free to PM me if you want to discuss this in any depth.
You mean it's not normal to eat the more common colors first? Keeping on topic, perhaps we can add the candy color eating thing onto a monster or something.
Bug Report - I've had issues with switches blocking access to the storage room of classrooms. Switches typically spawn between the shelves, making it impossible to get to the phat lewts without a teleport ability of some description.
Work's been a bit slow for the moment, since I've been busy with something else: Otherwise, shortly after the expansion hits and steam cloud's turned on, I plan to split the mod into a skills and noskills version, so those who don't want to see Radiant Wizard in their random skills lineup won't have to. Also planning to collecting my skills together in a skillpack mod for convenience.
