    I keep getting that darn invalid message as well, and I've checked my XMLs a billion times. It's a simple insult mod, so I don't really see how I could eff it up so much that it doesn't work at all!

    (The mod works, just not on Steam Workshop or as a ZIP.)

    What exactly happens when you post a NEW version of your mod on SteamWorkshop?

    Does it overwrites the previous version of the mod for users without their permission?
    If a mod is incompatible with saves, would it make a game unplayable for those who are using a previous version of my mod?

    Unfortunately, that is the way subscribing works, yes. The mod will be redownloaded and it can cause issues like you said.

    Why create a new shortcut instead of adding "-publisher' to launch options in the client then removing it afterward?
